Hey Beautiful !My name is Yuliia Kozlovska — I’m an artist with Ukrainian roots, living and creating in the beautiful city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I’ve been painting since childhood. As a little girl, I would spend hours with pencils and paints — it was my way of speaking to the world. Art became my quiet haven, a place where my soul could live freely.
But life, as it often does, brought changes. Moving between countries — Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, and now Canada — meant I sometimes had to pause my creative journey. And yet, every time life slowed down… I picked up the brush again.
In 2022, after the war in Ukraine forced my family and me to start a new life in Canada, I lost my job — and that’s when I returned to painting once more. Looking at my artwork, I asked myself:
“What if this isn’t just a coincidence? What if art is the path I was always meant to follow?”
Today, I know: art is not a hobby. It’s my truth. My breath. My way of being.
I paint with love, with intention, and with soul. My works are a blend of oil and acrylic painting, inspired by nature, flowers, intuition, and deep emotions. They are gentle echoes of memory, beauty, and hope — the kinds of feelings that can’t always be put into words.
Each painting is a piece of my heart, a quiet conversation with the viewer. They are created to touch the soul, to awaken light and tenderness in someone else’s heart.

The finish affects how the colors and textures are perceived depending on the lighting. You can choose from three options:
• Glossy – shiny, vibrant, enhances color depth
• Satin – soft, semi-matte, with gentle light reflection
• Matte – no shine, calm and elegant, ideal for minimalistic interiors
To create a painting that perfectly fits your space and vision, here are a few things to consider:

HOW TO COMMISSION AN ARTWORK?

Where will the painting be displayed — in your living room, bedroom, office, or a restaurant?
A large wall works beautifully with a big canvas, while smaller spaces may call for a more compact format.
Think about the purpose — is it meant to be a focal point, or to bring a calm, subtle mood?
In order to commission an artwork, there are some basic considerations to help establish the qualities of your custom artwork.
These are the questions we would discuss together to decide on the size, style, finish and vibrancy of your artwork before beginning the process.

COMMISSION A CUSTOM ARTWORK
Is there something you love and would love to have incorporated into the artwork in a unique way? Texts, logos, designs, images, different mediums and textures can all be added into the artwork based on your personal preference. I work with different unique products. These elements are a great way to add something special to your custom piece. If you are not sure how to incorporate it, don't worry! I will do the creative process and make sure it is perfect to your taste.
After discussing the details of the artwork a deposit of 40% is required to begin the process. For the painting to be completed please allow 4-6 weeks. If it is a project with urgency I will make sure to have it ready on the due date we discuss. If you would like it to be ready for a specific date it, we can arrange for that as well. Once the final payment is received the custom artwork will be shipped internationally the same/ or following day to your destination for an additional fee (based on the post office rate at the time).
